Northwest Health is offering the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course at the MAAC training campus located at 4203 Montdale Park Drive in Valparaiso\, Indiana! \nEMT Classes will be held at the MAAC every Monday and Thursday evenings\, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Graduates will be eligible to sit for the National Registry Certification Exam upon successful course completion. The cost of the course is $1\,500. For specific course questions please contact Northwest Health Instructor Val Urello at val.urello@maacfoundation.org \nIf you applied for the Legacy Foundation scholarship\, you must still complete both the EMT course registration with full payment and the Legacy Foundation scholarship application. Scholarship funds will be awarded separately\, and recipients will be reimbursed based on the amount granted. \nEMT Class Refund Policy: Withdrawal or cancellation will be based on the date the request is received via email or in person (emails should be sent to Nicole Gladstone: nicole@maacfoundation.org). \n\nIf a student withdraws before 12:00 AM CST July 30 they may receive a full refund\nIf a student withdraws by 12:00 PM CST on August 17 (within the first week of class)\, 50% of registration fees will be refunded\, minus a $45 processing fee\nNo refunds will be issued after the first week of class.\n\nCPR Certification Required\nPlease note that a valid CPR Certification must be completed by August 10.
