Description: The Two Day Course, The Working Engine is a true 16 hours of Hands-on Training focused on maximizing an engine company’s efficiency on the fireground regardless of staffing. By utilizing a mix of classic and modern engine techniques instructors will provide a systematic approach to aggressively accomplish the three most critical tasks on the fire ground, Extinguishment, Search and Ventilation. Topics covered include, fire dynamics, nozzle/hose selection, considerations for an aggressive attack line, victim search and removal. Sunday will be performed in the IDLH atmosphere with full PPE and SCBA. All efforts have been made to allow students the most hands-on time possible!

PPE Requirements: Full PPE and SCBA, and one spare bottle
