About Us

First Responder Mental Health Initiative

The MAAC Training Campus has expanded training opportunities and resources to include mental health and resiliency – helping all first responders achieve and maintain mental fitness to serve their communities, fellow responders, and families - at their best.

The First Responder Mental Health Initiative is bringing industry-leading mental health training and speakers to the Region, creating more access to mental and behavioral health resources, and changing the conversation around mental health in the public safety community.

This Initiative is guided by a leadership committee representing fire, law enforcement, emergency medicine, hospital systems, clinicians, chaplains, and the NWI First Responder Peer Support Team.
