District 1 Fire Academy-Winter 2024
The District 1 Fire Academy is 24 weeks of initial firefighter training that will include state certifications in Hazardous Material Awareness/Operations, Firefighter I/II and all state required curriculum to function as a firefighter in the state of Indiana. Participants must have fire department sponsorship and full gear with SCBA’s. A minimum of 80% attendance throughout the Academy is required to be eligible for testing.
