Fire Behavior Garage – Max Fire Box
Fire Behavior Garage is currently a work in progress and houses the Max Fire Box I & II, Thermal Imaging Prop, Fire Investigation demonstrations, etc. In the future a hood system will be installed allow for the various demonstrations to be held indoors to avoid conflict with weather conditions.
The Max Fire Box comes in two phases. Phase I of the Max Fire Box is a single chamber that is used to demonstrate fire behavior in the live, small-scale setting. Phase II of the Max Fire Box is a multi-story or a multi-chamber unit that is used to demonstrate fire behavior on a larger scale. Phase II allows for the demonstration of flow paths and the dangers that they can create whether the units are side-by-side or multi-story units.
