CLASS DESCRIPTION & INFORMATION:
Students will be broken into companies and taught about pitched and flat
roof ventilation. All topics will be covered from building construction, roof access, low
visibility conditions, roof issues, along with saw maintenance and care.
Afternoon session will end with real time scenarios allowing students to put their skills to use.

District 1 Fire Academy-Winter 2024
The District 1 Fire Academy is 24 weeks of initial firefighter training that will include state certifications in Hazardous Material Awareness/Operations, Firefighter I/II and all state required curriculum to function as a firefighter in the state of Indiana.
