Learn Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED and Stop the Bleed in one hands-on class at the MAAC Foundation. No prior experience is required, and the CPR and AED training follows American Heart Association guidelines and standards.

- How to recognize life-threatening bleeding

- Proper bandaging techniques
- How to use bleeding control equipment
- When and how to use a tourniquet
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the required portions of the training will receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED certification, along with a Stop the Bleed certificate of participation.
Why Take This Class?
Emergencies can happen anywhere: at home, at work, at school, at a sporting event or in the community. You don’t have to be a medical professional or first responder to make a difference.
Refunds and Rescheduling:
- With at least 24-hour notice, you may choose between a refund (minus a 10% processing fee) or a complimentary class reschedule.
- If notice is provided less than 24 hours before the class, refunds are not available, but you are eligible for one complimentary class reschedule.
- You will not be eligible for a refund if you cancel a rescheduled class or request to cancel after the scheduled class date.
Please note: The class is subject to cancellation in cases of low enrollment; participants will be notified and have the opportunity for a refund or rescheduling.
