The MAAC is pleased to officially announce open registration for our Latin/Spanish Live Fire School!
The school will take at the MAAC Training Facility in Valparaiso, Indiana, USA.
The curriculum of this class will be focused on the suppression of Class A and Class B fires with the use of wood and propane as the primary fuels and water as the primary extinguishing agent.
This will be a “Prop-Based” class which will include classroom time dedicated to the fire science and techniques of each individual live fire prop, with increased, dedicated, hands-on live fire revolutions with each prop.
We will focus heavily on fire suppression tactics including scene size up, team prep and organization, hose handling, water discharge, water application, and fire suppression. Our goals for this class are:
- For each student to understand and conduct the scene size-up process
- For each student to organize, assign, and lead an initial attack team
- For each student to calculate and apply correct discharge and application rates
- For each student to complete a minimum of (2) revolutions as nozzle position through each prop
We aim for live fire training for at least 4 hours of each day, delivering you MORE LIVE FIRE than any other fire school!
