FRADD Volunteer Information

Thank you for volunteering with the MAAC Foundation at First Responder Appreciation & Demonstration Day (FRADD)! We are incredibly grateful for your time and support as we celebrate the first responders who serve our communities.

Volunteers will receive an overview of the MAAC Foundation and important FRADD event information, followed by a tour of the campus. We will review the event layout, volunteer stations, parking and other important details so everyone feels prepared and comfortable before the big day.

Tuesday, September 8 | 5:00–6:30 PM
Thursday, September 10 | 8:00–9:30 AM

Volunteers only need to attend one session. We look forward to welcoming you to the MAAC and preparing for another successful FRADD event!

What should I wear?

Please wear appropriate, comfortable, breathable clothing and closed-toe shoes. You’ll be outside and moving around throughout the event, so dress for the weather!

Want to show your MAAC pride? You can purchase a MAAC shirt for $20 and pick it up ahead of the event to wear during your shift. Purchase you MAAC shirt here!

If you already have a MAAC shirt, we’d love for you to wear it! Otherwise, we encourage volunteers to wear red, white or blue.

Where should I go when I arrive?

4201 Montdale Drive, Valparaiso, IN 46383

Please use this address instead of the MAAC Foundation address, as you will be parking behind the AMKUS building. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled shift to allow time for parking and volunteer check-in.

From US 30, take the exit and head east on US 30. At the first traffic light, turn right and follow the road until you see our friendly parking attendants, who will guide you to the appropriate parking area.

Please take some time to review the campus map before FRADD! Familiarizing yourself with the layout will help you answer attendee questions and direct guests to the right location.

If an attendee asks a question you don’t know the answer to, don’t worry! We’ll provide volunteers with key contacts and resources to help point guests in the right direction.
