Winter 2026 Volunteer Fire Academy Week 9

The Week 9 update of the Volunteer Fire Academy is here! Carl will be talking with you about ladders: tall ladders, short ladders, medium ladders, all the ladders. Firefighters practiced working with ladders of different sizes, learning how to properly carry, raise, and place them against buildings. They practiced scaling ladders, accessing windows and balconies, and performing simulated rescues!
